From this week on, we will submit an online magazine whose purpose is to let you know our products better, and the whole mantra behind Italian cuisine.
Our main purpose in this food-oriented project, is to bring excellent quality on your tables. And quality, as everyone knows, requires research and tradition.
The concept of “tradition and research” necessarily involves a story that has to be told, news from which to grasp content, in order to deliver the clearest and most complete general picture of Italian cuisine, as it is known and appreciated worldwide.
To Italians, every dish and recipe finds its origin in family, town or land history, and this is why food is a very serious matter on a sentimental level, linked to the blood and the land. There is no Italian who will not claim that his grandmother made the best version of a certain dish: my grandma used to make the most exquisite tagliatelle with ragù, so good that not even a Michelin chef could replicate them.
In Italy, cuisine is so important because it is related to our national identity and history. Our cuisine developed under the influence of Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Jews, Arabs and Normans. With such a melting pot, it would be impossible to not find this concoction of ingredients and recipes to mingle them together.
Every Italian region brings with itself the menus and the traditions of the people that conquered it, as Arabs in Sicily and Normans in Lombardy; for this reason, regional cuisine is the living proof of our history as a conquered land. What we eat today is the result of the ethnical contamination carried out through the centuries, an indelible trace on our regional identity.
The fundamental characteristic of our cuisine is its extreme simplicity. In Italy, you can assemble the most delicious dish with only four ingredients: pasta, olive oil, tomato and parmigiano. If simplicity is perfection and less is more, we understood it long time ago.
Besides simplicity, another main feature of our cuisine is the highest quality of the ingredients. Some of them are in fact certified and recognized as best in class.
Therefore we can claim that our long history, which finds its roots at the beginning of men’s history, is our most powerful patrimony, thanks to which we can praise our super famous CUISINE!
